To change Background music

First, get a program to convert your mp3s or whatever to OGG format.  I don't know of any free one, so convert what you can while the trial version of whatever you use still functions.

Then, go to the folder your FWO is installed in, and open the subfolder Sound.

All the *.ogg files in this folder are game music (although a few are obsolete and not used in game).
This is the complete list of music used in game:

b1.ogg - Battle Music
b2.ogg - Battle Music
b3.ogg - Battle Music
b4.ogg - Battle Music
b5.ogg - Battle Music
b6.ogg - Battle Music

dgn1.ogg - Cave Music
main.ogg - Main Title Theme
mounttx.ogg - Tian Shan Music
mtianxia.ogg - Tian Xia Clan Music
starter.ogg - Yong Le Music
terrain4.ogg - LOSS Music
tianyin.ogg- TYC Music
tw1.ogg - Qi Lian
tw2.ogg - Land of Gold, Phoenix Creek Village
tw3.ogg - Bu
tw4.ogg - An Shan, Northern Desert
tw5.ogg - Le Yang, Rock Mouth Hill, Land of RM
tw6.ogg - Sun Hua
tw7.ogg - Land of Breeze, Fishing Village

z07mc.ogg - Mystique Valley Music
z07rc.ogg - Nan An Music
z08bc.ogg - Bat Clan Music
z08gwc.ogg - Great Whale Clan Music

Not Used (afaik)

So, these are the files you have to replace to change the background music in game.  Back them up first just in case you want to switch them back later.

Process Example
1) Convert the desired song into OGG format.
2) Rename it to the name of the file you want to replace.
e.g. your music.ogg would become tw6.ogg if you wanted to replace the music in Sun Hua.
3) Copy the renamed file into the Sound folder and replace the old one.
After this, when you start the game the new music will be in place of the old music for Sun Hua (or whatever you replaced).

Notes: As far as I can tell, which battle song that plays at any time is randomly chosen and you can't set them based on different situations.  The song also doesn't change until you unstance for a few seconds, so try to choose music that you won't become easily sick of.
